Check out our lists of books for you to read and films for you to watch though our online resources.

Kanopy – With Kanopy you can watch films on iconic women such as Maya Angelou, Agatha Christie, Joan Of Arc, Frida, Ida B. Wells and more. You will have to create an account with your library card, and films can be watched on smart devices such as tablets and tvs!

Goodreads – We have created a list of over 30 books that you can check out and read from our library or place a hold and pick it up. With Goodreads you can get information on the book and read reviews by real people. There are also many other lists that we have created on Goodreads for different subjects, and they can be found in the left panel on the website.

Hoopla – We have even more inspiring movies about women for you to watch on Hoopla. You will need to create an account with your library card to watch. You can also get the Hoopla app for easier access to the films.

Books for Kids – The Youth Services Department has created a pdf that you can download and print of a list of books that you can check out for the kids, or read to them in the library.
