Computer Services Lab
The Computer Services Department is located in the Adult Public Services Department. Computers with Microsoft Office and Internet browsing are open and available for use. No Library card is necessary, and a staff member is nearby for help. Both printing and scanning are available.
Our current hours of operation are :
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:30 pm
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Copy, Scan & Fax
One Copier is available for public use across from the Public Services Desk. Cost is 10 cents per page.
In the computer lab is a stand alone scanner machine that you can use at no extra charge. If you have any questions you can ask the attendant in the lab at the desk.
Fax service is available at the Customer Service desk. Fee is $1 per page (including the cover sheet).
Borrow a Laptop
There are 2 ways that you can borrow a laptop for free with your library card.
In-house: You can check out a laptop to use inside the library for 2 hours. Check out from the Adult Services Desk.
Outside The Library (Matteson library card holders only): You can checkout a laptop to take home for 1 week. Check out from the Customer Service Desk.

Got a new phone, tablet or laptop and don’t know how to use it or set it up? Don’t worry we can help you get comfortable with your new tech device and have you loving it in no time! You can setup an appointment with someone at the Public Services Desk.
The Swan Library App is your starting place for accessing the library’s resources on your mobile device. With this app, you can quickly and easily find our locations, hours, and contact info, check your library card account, learn about upcoming events, scan ISBN barcodes on books, DVDs, and CDs to see if the library already owns what you’re looking for, and more.
