Thank you to everyone that came to the MAPLD FanFest. We will start calling winners for the prize baskets this week (all winners will have 1 week to pick up their prizes before we move on to the next person). While you wait please take our very quick survey on the MAPLD FanFest here. You will be able to be entered to win additional prizes!

MAPLD FanFest is back for its 3rd year and scheduled to take place on August 13, 2022 from 10 am – 4 pm, at the Matteson Area Public Library. Free educational and fun programs/events for all ages will be scheduled throughout the entire day. Take part in our cosplay showcase, video game tournament, streamer panel and much more. Schedule of Events:
10 am – Lolita Fashion (Training Room/Makerspace)
10 am – Crafts For All Ages (Room C – Lower Level)
10 am – Vendor & Artist Alley (Rooms A & B – Lower Level)
10 am – Board Games (Youth Services)
10:30 am – Draw-A-Long w/ Ashley Esper (Youth Services)
11:30 am – Life As A Streamer Panel (Training Room/Makerspace)
12:30 pm – Learn to Make Dangos With Victoria Rosenthal (Room C – Lower Level)
1 pm – Mario Kart Video Game Tournament (registration starts at 12 pm in Training Room/Makerspace) Sign up online here.
1 pm – Drawing Class w/ Ka-Pow!! School (Youth Services)
2:30 pm – Cosplay Showcase ( signup starts at 2 pm at Room C – Lower Level)
