Meeting Room Rentals

There are two large meeting rooms located downstairs that can seat 50 adults comfortably.

Due to Covid-19 space in the meeting room is limited to 20 people.

You may print and complete the Meeting Room Application, then either fax to the library’s administrative fax number at: 708-748-0579 or bring completed application to the library.

Rules for Rooms

Meeting Room Guidelines

  1. Applications for the use of meeting rooms at the Matteson Area Public Library must be made
    by an adult (18 years or older) who has a valid Matteson Area Public Library card.
  2. Applications for use of a meeting room must be submitted at least two weeks in advance; but,
    no more than 3 months in advance.
  3. Groups must be larger than 10 people to reserve the room.
  4. All users are responsible for complying with the provisions of the Americans with
    Disabilities Act which requires that a meeting or materials at a meeting be provided in an
    accessible format in response to a request

Facility Use Policies

The MAPLD provides a meeting room as a limited forum to support its educational, informational, and recreational mission.  The library will comply with all State and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in making its meeting room available and will not deny usage based on the viewpoints expressed by users.  Use of the meeting room does not constitute sponsorship or endorsement of the users’ beliefs by the MAPLD or the Board of Library Trustees.
