Calling all ghosts, goblins, and witches! Join us for a frightfully fun Trick or Treat Event at the library on Halloween! Bring your little ones in their best costumes for an evening filled with treats, games, and festive activities.

 

Fun Trick or Treating Facts:

  • Did you know that the tradition of trick or treating dates back to the Celtic festival of Samhain? People would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts!
  • The most popular candy for trick or treaters is chocolate, with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups topping the list!

Don’t miss out on this exciting event that’s sure to delight children of all ages! We can’t wait to see you there—costumes encouraged!

Kids will have the opportunity to get creative with a variety of materials. Somedays they might be painting with watercolors; other days, they could be making playdough. The sky’s the limit! Please note space is limited.

Saturday STEAM Challenge

Time: 2 – 3 PM
Grade: Varies depending on program.
In this program, kids can make oobleck, build towers out of marshmallows and dried spaghetti, or learn how to program mini robots and so much more.

Comic Book Creations

Explore your creativity and bring your stories to life in our comic book drawing class for Teens and Tweens. This fun and engaging course is designed for aspiring artists who are passionate about comics, graphic novels, and storytelling. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, this class will provide you with the tools and techniques to create your very own comic strip or graphic novel.

Universal Yums! Embark on a Snack Quest Around the World

Tweens, join us this fall as we explore and taste the favorite snacks of children from around the world. Visit four different countries and discover the unique flavors and treats enjoyed by kids in each culture!
