Reading Colors Your World Summer Reading Program
June 4 – August 1
Yes! It is summer and we have a great summer program for you! The reverse kick off parade for all ages is Saturday, June 5, 2021. There will be tables setup with information and fun things to take home. For adults this summer we have a bingo sheet and a series of colorful programs for all interests. For our adult participants there will be weekly prizes, a fun prize for the first eight adults that finish their Bingo sheet, and a fantastic Grand Prize!
For children and teens there will be storytimes, arts and crafts, gaming and more fun activities. Make sure to sign your children up for the summer reading program where they can have fun reading while earning prizes. Find the youth’s Summer Reading website here.
Bingo Prize Card
Monday, June 7 – August 1
Bingo cards will be available for Adult patrons to pick up and complete for this year’s Summer program. Each card consists of 9 colorful squared blocks. There will be activities, and colors to use to fill your card, and you can always check the Library’s Goodread account for book suggestions. Once patrons fill their card, and turn it into the library they will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize. The first 8 patrons to finish will win an art kit. This year’s grand prize is a family membership to the Art Institute of Chicago.
