November is  National Novel Writing Month and we are ready!

The Matteson Public Library is presenting its First Annual Lit Fest, starting at 8:30 a.m., November 10th and 11th, 2023.  Carol Burbank, MFA and award-winning writer, coach, and transformative educator will kick off Friday’s events with a keynote presentation.

Open to the general public, participants can network with more than thirty authors from the region.  11/10/2023 Friday’s events will include panel discussions and an interactive workshop.

An Open Mike event, sponsored by The Wexler Group at Keller Williams Preferred Realty, will take place at 5:00 p.m. at the Matteson Holiday Inn.

Authors will be on hand to display and promote their books at the library Author Fair on 11/11/2023 Saturday from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Applications for authors are no longer being accepted.
