Join us in celebrating National Library Week from April 7th to April 13th at Matteson Area Public Library District! To mark this special occasion, we’ll have a table set up at the front of the library featuring treats and demonstrations of some of the fantastic services we offer.

At our table, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about a variety of services, including printing, copies, passport assistance, notary services, and more. But that’s not all—exciting news alert! We’re thrilled to announce that we now offer License Plate sticker renewals as well! Yes, you read that right. The Matteson Public Library can assist you with renewing your license plate sticker, making the process quick and convenient. Simply bring in your notice from the Secretary of State or your vehicle’s information (including License plate number and VIN), and our friendly customer service associates will take care of the rest, getting you back on the road in no time.

But wait, there’s more! During National Library Week, we want to highlight the many ways we strive to serve our community beyond the physical walls of the library. Did you know that you can access our online databases and download digital copies of popular materials using your library card? Plus, with our e-lockers, you can pick up your materials at your convenience, whether we’re open or not.

For those who may have difficulty visiting the library in person, we offer Homebound delivery services and even a Born-to-Read delivery program for parents of newborns. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the materials and resources they need, no matter their circumstances.

So come celebrate National Library Week with us and discover all the ways Matteson Area Public Library District is here to serve you.
